Peter Bunzl is an award winning animator and film maker. A National Film and Television School graduate, his work incorporates manipulated footage and photo montage, with digital and traditional animation techniques.

Peter studied art and animation at The Chelsea College of Art and Design, The Surrey Institute of Art and Design, and The London Animation School, Central St Martins.

In 2002 he completed an Animation Direction MA at the National Film and Television School. There he became interested in combining animation with actors. His graduation film ‘The Garden’ won an award at ‘A Corto di Cinema’ in Lucca, Italy, and was nominated for The Verna Fields Golden Reels Sound Award in LA.

Peter Bunzl works as an animator and filmmaker. His work on ‘The Secret Show’ (BBC) and ‘Yoko Jakamoko Toto’ (ITV) has contributed to four BAFTA awards. His film Mind Games was nominated for the 2008 Virgin Media Shorts award and his most recent short ‘On The Upside’ was a finalist for the 2008 Rushes Best Newcomer. Peter is currently developing another short film and a feature. He is based in London.
