#UKMGCHAT — writing cinematically

On Wednesday evening I did a twitter chat with the lovely Miriam Craig and Lorraine Gregory on their #UKMGCHAT It can be a wild bunfight of a chat and you don’t manage to reply to everyone and everything, but I managed to answer Miriam and Lorraine’s questions about writing cinematically. SO here’s a storify of those questions and my answers:

Had a great time today visiting the bookshops of Dulwich with #UKMGCHAT #BOOKSPEDITION. There were seven or eight of us in total, a mixture of writers and bloggers, and we got to chat to the book buyers at each shop about the profile of their Children’s section, what sells well, what events they do, and their relationships with authors and publicists. It was a great fun day all round, very interesting and I learnt a lot about independent bookshops! Here are some photos of the various bookshops – Dulwich Books, Tales on Monoplane, and Village Books – and their children’s sections.
